Macau Travel Tips: preparing you for what to see and how to get there
Macau Travel Tips is a website I created to help you explore Macau from the comfort of your computer. If you have ever been fascinated by this travel destination, now you can explore it yourself, visiting all its tourist attractions, and you will be doing that without leaving your desk! And if you visit all the sights here, you will have seen more of Macau than most vacationers could have done in person.
This website is not a travelogue. Although I have visited Macau, I am not using this website to write about my travels. Rather, it is a reflection my desire to know everything about Macau, and to share my discovery with like-minded enthusiasts.
About Macau
The city of Macau, a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China, has a long and colorful history. Today Macau's rich heritage is celebrated by UNESCO with its inscription as a World Heritage Site. While it is true that many visitors come to Macau to gamble in its many casinos, there is a lot to this small enclave than gambling, and at Macau Travel Tips, I want to share with you everything that is wonderful about this former Portuguese colony. Along the way, I will also provide you practical travel tips so that you have all you need to plan a smooth and enjoyable visit there.
Macau Travel Tips is the result of travel tips I have accummulated over years of traveling. The information is arranged in the topics listed below. My apologies here that this website is still very much a work in progress. A lot of the information need to be reverified before I upload them to the web, and I need time to do this research. However, it's a task that I enjoy tremendously. I do seek your patience as this website takes shape bit by bit. Do check back every now and then for new updates.
