Welcome to Macau Travel Tips. This website is created to help tourists and visitors prepare for a trip to Macau.

The city of Macau, a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China, has a long and colorful history. Today Macau's rich heritage is celebrated by Unesco with its inscription as a World Heritage Site. While it is true that many visitors come to Macau to gamble in its many casinos, there is a lot to this small enclave than gambling, and at Macau Travel Tips, I want to share with you everything that is wonderful about this former Portuguese colony. Along the way, I will also provide you practical travel tips so that you have all you need to plan a smooth and enjoyable visit there.

Macau Travel Tips is the result of travel tips I have accummulated over years of traveling. The information is arranged in the topics listed below. My apologies here that this website is still very much a work in progress. A lot of the information need to be reverified before I upload them to the web, and I need time to do this research. However, it's a task that I enjoy tremendously. I do seek your patience as this website takes shape bit by bit. Do check back every now and then for new updates.
